CA Port List View

Overview

The CA port information is displayed in list form.

Actions

Icon/Button Description

Opens/closes the filter menu.

Click this icon to open the filter menu to filter the display items and display resources of the list.

Click this icon again to close the filter menu. The filter menu is closed by default.

< > X - Y of Z

Changes the List page.

Click the left arrow icon to return to the previous page.

Click the right arrow icon to proceed to the next page.

The location of the currently displayed resource and the total number of resources are also displayed.

X: The start point of the currently displayed list element.

Y: The end point of the currently displayed list element.

Z: The total number of elements.

Display Items

Parameter Name Description

Name

The CA port name is displayed.

Click a CA port name to display its Detail View.

Enclosure

The enclosure name in which the CA port is installed is displayed.

Click an enclosure name to display its Detail View.

Status

The CA port status is displayed.

  • Normal

    Normal state.

  • Unused

    Unused state.

  • Maintenance

    Maintenance state.

  • Warning

    Preventive maintenance is required.

  • Error

    An error occurred and maintenance is required.

Type

The interface type of the CA port is displayed.

  • FC

    FC interface ports

  • iSCSI

    iSCSI interface ports

  • iSCSI 10GBASE-T

    iSCSI 10GBASE-T interface ports

  • SAS

    SAS interface ports

  • FCLINK

    Mainframe interface ports

  • OCLINK

    Mainframe interface ports

  • NAS

    NAS interface ports

Port Mode

The operation mode of the CA port is displayed.

  • CA

    Host connection mode

  • RA

    REC connection mode

  • RFCF

    Remote File Copy Facility Mode

  • Initiator

    FC Initiator Mode

  • CARA

    Host connection mode and REC connection mode

Maximum Speed

The maximum transfer speed of the CA port is displayed.

The unit is "Gbps".

Link Speed

The link status of the CA port is displayed.

The unit is "Gbps".

Information
  • "N/A" is displayed when "Type" is other than "FC" or "iSCSI".

  • For linkdown, "0" is displayed.

Filters

Parameter Name Description

Default Settings

Reverts the filter menu setting to the default.

Items per page

Select the number of resources to display per page in the list. The default number is 20.

  • 20

    The number of resources displayed per page is 20.

  • 50

    The number of resources displayed per page is 50.

  • 100

    The number of resources displayed per page is 100.

Enclosure

Select whether to display the "Enclosure" column in the list. The "Enclosure" column is not displayed by default.

This item is also used to select the enclosure where the CA port to be displayed in the list is installed. The CA ports that are installed in the selected enclosure are displayed in the list.

If the "Enclosure" checkbox is cleared, the list will not be filtered by enclosure. The "Enclosure" checkbox is cleared by default.

  • CE#x

    Drives that are installed in CE#x are displayed.

Status

Select whether to display the "Status" column in the list. The "Status" column is displayed by default.

This item is also used to select the status of the CA port that is to be displayed in the list. The CA ports that are in the selected status are displayed in the list.

If no CA port statuses are selected, the list will not be filtered by status. No CA port statuses are selected by default.

  • Normal

    CA ports in the "Normal" state are displayed.

  • Unused

    CA ports in the "Unused" state are displayed.

  • Maintenance

    CA ports in the "Maintenance" state are displayed.

  • Warning

    CA ports in the "Warning" state are displayed.

  • Error

    CA ports in the "Error" state are displayed.

Type

Select whether to display the "Type" column in the list. The "Type" column is displayed by default.

Port Mode

Select whether to display the "Port Mode" column in the list. The "Port Mode" column is not displayed by default.

Maximum Speed

Select whether to display the "Maximum Speed" column in the list. The "Maximum Speed" column is not displayed by default.

Link Speed

Select whether to display the "Link Speed" column in the list. The "Link Speed" column is displayed by default.
