Disconnect Volume from All Host Dialog

Overview

This function disconnects all the connections for the volume.

Caution
  • Before disconnecting the volumes, stop host access to the selected volume.

Information
  • The selected volumes are deleted from all the LUN groups that use the relevant volumes with the host affinity.

  • If all the volumes that belong to the LUN group are selected, host affinity is released and the LUN group is deleted.

  • Up to 256 volumes can be selected at the same time.

  • If the total number of hosts that are connect to the selected volume exceeds 64, the operation fails.

  • If volumes that are not connected to the host are selected, the operation fails.

  • If the volume is connected to a host that uses multiple LUN groups, the connection cannot be disconnected.

  • If the volume is connected to SAS hosts or FCoE hosts, the connection cannot be disconnected.

  • The following volumes cannot be disconnected. Use ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser to disconnect them.

    • VVOL

    • Volumes that are used in the Storage Cluster environment

ss: Second (00 - 59)

Elapsed Time

The elapsed time after starting the process is displayed.

The elapsed time is displayed in the following format.

XX:YY:ZZ

XX: Elapsed time (hours)

YY: Elapsed time (minutes)

ZZ: Elapsed time (seconds)

Information
  • This item is displayed when "Overall Status" is "Running".

Completion Time

The completion time for all the jobs created by this process is displayed.

The time is displayed in the following format.

YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss

YYYY: Year (AD)

MM: Month (01 - 12)

DD: Date (01 - 31)

hh: Hour (00 - 23)

mm: Minute (00 - 59)

ss: Second (00 - 59)

Information
  • This item is displayed when "Overall Status" is "Success" or "Error".

Overall Status

The process status is displayed.

  • Running

    The process is being performed.

  • Success

    The process completed successfully.

  • Error

    The process terminated with an error.

    Check the detailed information from Error Details.

    Parameter Name Description

    Job ID

    The identifier of the job is displayed.

    Only the jobs created by this process are displayed.

    Description

    The overview of the job is displayed.

    Status

    The job status is displayed.

    • Success

      The job succeeded and the process is completed.

    • Canceled

      The job is canceled and the process is completed.

    • Running

      The job is being executed.

    • Queued

      The job is waiting for execution.

    • Error

      The job failed and the process is completed.

      The detailed error information for the relevant job can be checked in Error Details.

    • Partial Error

      A part of the job failed and the process is completed.

      The detailed error information for the relevant job can be checked in Error Details.

    Completion Time

    The time when the job completes is displayed.

    The time is displayed in the following format.

    YYYY: Year (AD)

    MM: Month (01 - 12)

    DD: Date (01 - 31)

    hh: Hour (00 - 23)

    mm: Minute (00 - 59)

    ss: Second (00 - 59)

    Information
    • "N/A" is displayed when the job status is "Running" or "Queued".

  • Error Details

    Parameter Name Description

    Job ID

    The identifier of the job is displayed.

    Only the jobs created by this process and whose status is "Error" are displayed.

    Error Message

    An error message is displayed.

    Information
    • An error message is displayed in English even if "Japanese" is selected as the display language.

    Error Code

    The error code is displayed.

    If the cause and required action of the error cannot be recognized from the error message, refer to "Appendix A Error Messages/Error Codes" in "ETERNUS CLI User's Guide" for the cause and required action of each error code.

    Internal Code

    The internal ID of the error detection location is displayed.

    Information
    • This information is for technical support.

    Operation Results

    The execution result of each operation corresponding to the job is displayed.

    This information is displayed in the following format.

    xxx: yyy

    xxx: The execution result. "Succeeded", "Failed", "Execute", or "Unexecuted" is displayed.

    yyy: Details of the operation. The operation is displayed in the command line format. Refer to "ETERNUS CLI User's Guide" for details.

    The execution results are displayed on multiple lines if multiple operations are executed.
