Host List View

Overview

The host information is displayed in list form.

Information
  • The FC host and iSCSI host information is displayed.

Actions

Icon/Button Description

Opens/closes the filter menu.

Click this icon to open the filter menu to filter the display items and display resources of the list.

Click this icon again to close the filter menu. The filter menu is closed by default.

< > X - Y of Z

Changes the List page.

Click the left arrow icon to return to the previous page.

Click the right arrow icon to proceed to the next page.

The location of the currently displayed resource and the total number of resources are also displayed.

X: The start point of the currently displayed list element.

Y: The end point of the currently displayed list element.

Z: The total number of elements.

Registers a new FC host.

Click this icon to open the dialog to register new hosts.

Connects volumes to the host.

Click this icon to open the dialog to connect volumes to the selected host.

Disconnects all the connections from the host to the volumes.

Click this icon to open the dialog for disconnecting all the connections from the selected host to the volumes.

Deletes the host.

Click this icon to open the dialog for deleting the selected hosts.

Opens/closes the action menu of the host.

Click this icon to open a menu for the various operations that can be performed for the host.

  • Connect

    Connects volumes to the host.

  • Modify

    Changes the host settings.

  • Disconnect

    Disconnects all the connections from the host to the volumes.

  • Delete

    Deletes the host.

Setting Items

Name Description

Select the following hosts.

  • To be connected to the volumes

  • To be disconnected from the volumes

  • To be deleted

Display Items

Parameter Name Description

Name

The host name is displayed.

Click a host name to display its Detail View.

Status

The status of the volume, which is connected to the host, is displayed.

  • Normal

    All the volumes that are connected to the host are in the "Normal" state.

  • Maintenance

    Volumes in the "Maintenance" state are connected.

  • Warning

    Volumes in the "Warning" state are connected.

  • Error

    Volumes in the "Error" state are connected.

  • Unused

    No volumes are connected.

Type

The type of the host is displayed.

  • FC

    FC host

  • iSCSI

    iSCSI host

WWN / IP Address

The WWN or IP address of the host is displayed.

Host Response Name

The host response name, which has been assigned to the host, is displayed.

iSCSI Name

The iSCSI name of the iSCSI host is displayed.

Information
  • "N/A" is displayed for FC.

Selected: x

The number of selected hosts is displayed.

Filters

Parameter Name Description

Default Settings

Reverts the filter menu setting to the default.

Items per page

Select the number of resources to display per page in the list. The default number is 20.

  • 20

    The number of resources displayed per page is 20.

  • 50

    The number of resources displayed per page is 50.

  • 100

    The number of resources displayed per page is 100.

Name

Specify the name of the host to be displayed in the list. Information of the host whose name partially matches the input string is displayed.

If no values are specified, the list will not be filtered by host name. This item is blank by default.

Information
  • The "Name" column cannot be hidden.

  • Regular expressions such as "*" can be used. To specify a resource name that includes a character used for regular expressions such as "*", input an escape character (\) before the character.

Status

Select whether to display the "Status" column in the list. The "Status" column is displayed by default.

This item is also used to select the status of the host that is to be displayed in the list. The hosts that are in the selected status are displayed in the list.

If no host statuses are selected, the list will not be filtered by status. No host statuses are selected by default.

  • Normal

    Hosts in the "Normal" state are displayed.

  • Maintenance

    Hosts in the "Maintenance" state are displayed.

  • Warning

    Hosts in the "Warning" state are displayed.

  • Error

    Hosts in the "Error" state are displayed.

  • Unused

    Hosts in the "Unused" state are displayed.

Type

Select whether to display the "Type" column in the list. The "Type" column is displayed by default.

  • FC

    Hosts whose type is "FC" are displayed.

  • iSCSI

    Hosts whose type is "iSCSI" are displayed.

WWN / IP Address

Select whether to display the "WWN / IP Address" column in the list. The "WWN / IP Address" column is displayed by default.

Host Response Name

Select whether to display the "Host Response Name" column in the list. The "Host Response Name" column is not displayed by default.

iSCSI Name

Select whether to display the "iSCSI Name" column in the list. The "iSCSI Name" column is not displayed by default.
