Web GUI (Easy Administration View) Overview

What is Web GUI (Easy Administration View)?

Web GUI is a Web application which supports the setting modifications and the maintenance operations of the ETERNUS DX S5 series, the ETERNUS DX8000 S4 series, and the ETERNUS AF S3 series.

Web GUI has two display modes (views).

Easy Administration View is one of the display modes (views) supported by Web GUI.

Because Easy Administration View is designed to enable system operation and management in an intuitive manner, it can be used by customers with little knowledge about storage systems or by customers who want simple system operation and management.

However, the advanced setting functions and the maintenance functions used by maintenance engineers are not supported. For customers with enough knowledge about storage systems and field engineers who perform maintenance, using Web GUI (Normal View or existing Web GUI) is recommended.

The following shows the features of the two display modes (views) for Web GUI.
