Menu of the Panel Key
This section explains the types and functions of the panel keys on the system operation panel.

Menu0:REMOTE MOD |
This menu is used to turn the power on and off via the SCCI. The ETERNUS DX900 S6 and the ETERNUS DX8900 S6 (for UNIX/industry standard server connections) do not allow the power mode to be switched to remote mode using the panel key (*1) because a power-on or power-off using the SCCI is not supported. |
Menu1:LOCAL MOD |
Switches the power mode to local mode (which turns the power on and off via the Power switch). |
Menu2:MAINT MOD |
Switches the maintenance mode on and off. This menu is for use by the maintenance engineer. Do not use this menu. |
Menu3:PASS WORD |
Inputs a password. This menu is for use by the maintenance engineer. Do not use this menu. |
