LUN Group Addition

This function creates a new LUN group, and allocates a volume number in the ETERNUS DX to the LUN, which can be recognized by the host. The following list shows the maximum number of LUN groups that can be created for each model.

• ETERNUS DX600 S6: 2048

• ETERNUS DX900 S6: 6144

• ETERNUS DX8900 S6: 6144

Create a LUN group from the [LUN Group] screen by clicking the [LUN Group] tab on the navigation of the ETERNUS Web GUI screen.
