Frontend Routers (FRT)

A route switch used for connecting between controllers.

Note

For the ETERNUS DX900 S6 and the ETERNUS DX8900 S6 (with four controller enclosures or less), the frontend enclosure is equipped with four frontend routers that allow connections with up to eight controllers.

For the ETERNUS DX8900 S6 (with five controller enclosures or more), the frontend enclosure is equipped with four frontend routers that allow connections with up to 16 controllers.

  1. CM port (CM#0, CM#1)

    This port is used to connect FRTs and CMs.
