Frontend Enclosure

The frontend enclosure of the ETERNUS DX900 S6 and the ETERNUS DX8900 S6 has a system operation panel, service controllers (SVCs), and fan units in the front, and power supply units and frontend routers (FRTs) in the rear.

Frontend enclosures of the ETERNUS DX8900 S6 are available in two types: frontend enclosures that can connect with up to four controller enclosures (ETERNUS DX8900 S6 [with four controller enclosures or less]) and frontend enclosures that can connect with up to 12 controller enclosures (ETERNUS DX8900 S6 [with five controller enclosures or more]).
