SNMP Trap Test

Transmit the test trap from the SNMP Agent to the SNMP Manager to check whether an SNMP trap transmission is available.

The SNMP Trap is the event information reported by the storage system (SNMP Agent).

Before the SNMP Trap test is performed, the SNMP Agent environment must be configured. For details, refer to SNMP Trap Setup.

Perform the SNMP trap transmission test from the [System] screen by clicking [System] on the navigation of the ETERNUS Web GUI screen.
