MetroCluster Tiebreaker 1.4の依存関係のインストール

Tiebreakerソフトウェアをインストールまたはアップグレードする前に、ホストのLinuxオペレーティング システムに応じてMySQLサーバーまたはMariaDBサーバーをインストールします。

手順
  1. JDKをインストールします

  2. MySQLサーバーまたはMariaDBサーバーをインストールします。

JDKのインストール

Tiebreakerソフトウェアをインストールまたはアップグレードする前に、ホスト システムにJDKをインストールする必要があります。Tiebreaker 1.4以前では、JDK 1.8.0(JRE 8)がサポートされています。

手順
  1. 「root」ユーザーとしてログインします。

    login as: root
    root@mcctb's password:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7またはCentOS 7へのMySQL Server 5.5.30以降および5.6.xバージョンのインストール

Tiebreakerソフトウェアをインストールまたはアップグレードする前に、ホスト システムにMySQL Server 5.5.30以降および5.6.xバージョンをインストールする必要があります。 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8の場合は、MariaDBサーバーをインストールします

手順
  1. rootユーザーとしてログインします。

    login as: root

  3. MySQL 57リポジトリを無効にします。

  7. MySQLサーバーを起動します。

    To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:
    
      /usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'

      /usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation
    
    which will also give you the option of removing the test
    databases and anonymous user created by default.  This is
    strongly recommended for production servers.

    MySQLログインが想定どおりに機能している場合は、出力がmysql>プロンプトで終了します。

MySQLの自動起動設定の有効化

MySQLデーモンに対して自動起動機能が有効になっていることを確認する必要があります。MySQLデーモンを有効にすると、MetroCluster Tiebreakerソフトウェアがインストールされているシステムがリブートした場合にMySQLが自動的に再起動されます。MySQLデーモンが実行されていなくてもTiebreakerソフトウェアは引き続き実行されますが、再起動したり設定を変更したりすることはできません。

手順
  1. ブート時のMySQLの自動起動が有効になっていることを確認します。

    [root@mcctb ~]# systemctl list-unit-files mysqld.service

    ブート時のMySQLの自動起動が有効になっていない場合は、MySQLのドキュメントを参照して、自動起動機能を有効にしてください。

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8へのMariaDBサーバーのインストール

Tiebreakerソフトウェアをインストールまたはアップグレードする前に、ホスト システムにMariaDBサーバーをインストールする必要があります。 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7またはCentOS 7の場合は、MySQL Serverをインストールします

開始する前に

ホスト システムがRed Hat Enterprise Linux(RHEL)8で実行されている必要があります。

  3. MariaDBサーバーを起動します。

  5. セキュリティとパスワードを設定します。

    rootパスワードの入力を求めるプロンプトが表示されたら、空のままEnterキーを押すと、セキュリティとパスワードの設定に進むことができます。

MariaDBサーバーの自動起動設定の有効化

MariaDBサーバーに対して自動起動機能が有効になっていることを確認する必要があります。自動起動機能を有効にしていない状態で、MetroCluster Tiebreakerソフトウェアがインストールされているシステムのリブートが必要になった場合、Tiebreakerソフトウェアは引き続き実行されるものの、MariaDBサービスは再起動できず、設定を変更できなくなります。

手順
  1. 自動起動サービスを有効にします。

    [root@mcctb ~]# systemctl enable mariadb.service

  2. ブート時のMariaDBの自動起動が有効になっていることを確認します。

    [root@mcctb ~]# systemctl list-unit-files mariadb.service
